The iroko has fallen. Colonel Ikemba is dead.


Dr Okey Ndibe wrote a story about his childhood during the Biafran War, which he gave MJoTA permission to republish. The horror of the 1967-70 is told by Dr Ndibe. MJoTA tried to put the Biafran War in context then and now, after the death of the leader of Biafra on Nov 26, 2011. Dr Ndibe has featured previously in MJoTA.
