Caribbean American Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI)

I am a proud member of CACCI, an organization led by Dr Roy A Hastick snr whose right hand is his wife Dr Eda Hastick. CACCI was started in 1985 in order to connect Caribbean businesses with financing and know how.

CACCI hosts events at least once a month, and is ready to spring into action when the Caribbean community needs it. That happened on January 12, 2010, when the devastating earthquake killed 10% of the population of Haiti.

The Caton-Flatbush market became the focus of the relief effort in Brooklyn. Television crews from all over the world descended on Caton-Flatbush Market. The director of Caton-Flatbush co-ordinated donations, and filled barrels with clothes, toys, bottle water and sent the barrels to Haiti.

Apr 28, 2011. CACCI business discussion at Brooklyn Navy Yard. Dr Roy Hastick, founder and leader, is standing in front of the center of the banner. Dr Eda Hastick was certainly in the room, but she is not in this picture. Mr Edmund Sadio is fourth from right in the back row.
