Candidate for mayor of New York City, John Liu
John Liu, currently comptroller of New York City, running for mayor of New York City.
He is a former council member, he is an immigrant from Taiwan, he is an accountant and has kept New York City finances in good shape.
And he is everywhere. I have seen him at African, African American, Caribbean events since 2009.
I see him about 3 times more often than any of the other candidates. He was at the International African Arts Festival on July 4, being greeted warmly by Africans, African Americans, Caribbeans, Chinese, Euro-Americans, Jews, Latins.... Did I leave anyone out?
