The grandmother of my younger 2 offspring was
the daughter of a Jew, and was very blond, very Aryan-looking. She was
photographed by Nazis as an example of what young women were meant to
look like. Then she was made to wear a half-star, not
permitted to work, or to marry until Nazi Germany was defeated. To
Germans, she was an "us", and then became a "these assholes" to quote
George Zimmerman. Liberians went through a bloody civil war with a "us"
and "these assholes" mentality until the women crossed the aisles and
brokered a peace.
