Since around mid March, South Jersey has had a flurry of activity as good people, mainly professional women, have come together to support New Jersey legislatures as they try to restrict guns and bullets in New Jersey, and to support national legislators as they tried to restrict guns and bullets through federal laws.

On Saturday we had a rally in South Jersey, in a national park along a stream, in an open-air auditorium dedicated to 2 police officers gunned down by a scared transgendered person who had stockpiled an arsenal in her (formerly his) mother's house. She remains in a women's jail with other women who have shot dead humans they were threatened by; and the families of the 2 officers 18 years later are still trying to cope with the absurdity of waking with the hope of a beautiful spring day and sleeping with news that never ever got better.

Yesterday, after Republicans crossed the aisle to support background checks for anyone buying a gun, enough Democrats refused to support even the smallest of measures that would prevent lunatics and genocidal maniacs shooting up schools and churches and streets.

Congress, you did not behave as we the people. Get your act together so mothers' kisses wake children to get them ready for school. Too often, mothers' kisses are the last embrace of children before burial.

MOM-n-PA provides dental care for the relief of pain to thousands of the most needy, many from working families who do not have access or cannot afford dental insurance.

 

During our mission, more than 800 volunteers, including 120

dentists will treat around 2,000 patients.
